April Bowman, M.S.

April Bowman, M.S. is an expert at managing change and developing leaders. She earned a Master’s of Science in Learning and Organizational Change from Northwestern University in 2012. As a founder of multiple companies and educator of 15+ years who has impacted over 25,000 people across the country, April is uniquely positioned to lead through times of crisis and equip others to do the same.

April is a recipient of the 2019 Dallas Business Journal, Top 40 Under 40 award. As the COVID-19 pandemic began, she was featured in the Dallas Morning News for her community impact. In 2016, April started Bold Believers United which has gained public recognition for their annual C4 youth camp. Since then, April has launched Bowman Global, where she provides change management, leadership development, racial justice training, consulting, and coaching nationally and globally.

 

April also holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Washington in Sociology and Geography. She is a licensed Christian minister through the Potter’s House. Additionally, April is an alumna of the Mayor’s Star Council, Leadership ISD, Education Pioneer Fellowship and Urban League. She also serves on the grant review committee for the Texas Women’s Foundation and prioritizes mentoring underserved youth and young adults. 

 

April has worked with schools and organizations across the world, contracted with the Obama Foundation and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Center for Racial Justice in Education, presented at national and global conferences including Women Excel Zimbabwe, Gateway Church’s Pastors & Leaders, and KIPP’s 25th Anniversary featuring the keynote speaker and film director– Ava DuVernay. April finds joy in empowering people and organizations to move from inspiration to action in order to transform areas which need it most.
