April Bowman, M.S.

April Bowman, M.S. is a nationally recognized change strategist, speaker, coach, consultant and professional development specialist with more than 20 years of experience leading innovative initiatives that drive transformation across sectors and communities. As the founder of Bowman Global, she partners with corporations, universities, nonprofits, faith-based institutions and government agencies to design and deliver solutions that develop leaders, strengthen culture, and align strategy with purpose-centered impact.

April earned a Master’s of Science in Learning and Organizational Change from Northwestern University in 2012. She also earned a license in Christian Ministry through the Potter’s House in 2017. April brings a unique blend of professional and personal development expertise that is rooted in truth, love, hope and unity. April combines strategic insight with a deep understanding of human behavior and organizational dynamics. Her expertise spans leadership development, change management, DEI strategy, workforce readiness, community building and executive coaching. She is known for her ability to cultivate trust, inspire growth, and help clients navigate complexity with clarity, courage and confidence.

A recipient of the Dallas Business Journal’s Top 40 Leaders Under 40 award, April is sought after for her ability to translate big vision into practical action. Her work has touched thousands and continues to shape leaders and systems across the country and beyond. Additionally, April is an alumna of the Mayor’s Star Council, Leadership ISD, Education Pioneer Fellowship and Urban League. She has served her local church as well as on the grant review committee for the Texas Women’s Foundation and prioritizes mentoring underserved youth and young adults. 

April has worked with organizations and schools across the world, including the Obama Foundation, Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Center for Racial Justice in Education, University of North Texas at Dallas, Mathworks, College Success Foundation, Dallas Independent School District, Church Farm School and more. She has presented at national and global conferences, some of which include Women Excel Zimbabwe, Boarding Schools Association–United Kingdom, Gateway Church’s International Pastors & Leaders Conference, National Association of Episcopal Schools Biennial Conference featuring the keynote speaker– Bishop Michael Curry and KIPP’s 25th Anniversary featuring the keynote speaker and film director– Ava DuVernay. April finds joy in empowering people and organizations to move from inspiration to action in order to transform areas which need it most. She currently resides in Dallas, TX.
